This is the occasionally-updated web presence of author Beth Morris Tanner.

I started blogging in 2001 while I was living overseas, primarily as a way to stay in touch with my friends and family back home. Originally on Diaryland, I then switched to Livejournal, and now to WordPress, although I suspect there are some feeble other offshoots in various other places – as I find them I am attempting to corral them and get them more or less in one place.

In this blog you will find discussions on (in no particular order): writing, reading, food and cooking, gardening, technology, wine, genealogy, home-brewing, photography, DIY projects, weight loss and exercise, politics, beer, fashion, history, travel and whatever else happens to take my fancy at the time.

Ah! I followed your comment to see who BT was/is, and I found you! 🙂 Nice surprise. And thanks for the watering suggestion.
